Grovewood Bubinga Stand Up Desk

This stand up desk is constructed with Bubinga and Wenge. Bubinga
is one of the densest woods on the planet, and in fact it does not float,
but it makes it an excellent choice for a working desk.

On the left is a look at the incredible figure and frain of the bubinga used
in the slanted work surface. The slanted work surface is raised via a continuous
wooden hinge carved into the surfaces. When open, as shown on the right, we
reveal a flat work surface and three additional drawers. The lid leans back
against the console to remain open.
